Food & Olive Oil
Our Dulce de Leche, Membrillo, Chimichurri, Jams and Marmalades are made by hand in small batches in Cambridgeshire using traditional recipes and the finest ingredients.
Dulce de Leche is an Argentinian toffee spread eaten with anything sweet including pancakes, waffles, fruit and ice-cream, or straight from the jar with a teaspoon! Dulce de Leche is the best filling for a banoffee pie, far superior to a boiled tin of condensed milk.
Membrillo is a ruby red, fragrant quince preserve reminiscent of turkish delight. Argentines eat it with cheese or in "Pastafrola", a cross between a jam tart and a cake. It also pairs well with meat and game, adds depth to apple crumble or is great simply spread on toast.
Chimichurri is a spicy Argentinian sauce traditionally served with grilled or barbequed meat. It contains Oregano, Parsley, Garlic and Chilli mixed with Olive oil and White Wine vinegar.
Finca La Polvosa grows "Frantoio" olives and their extra virgin oil is amazing. The challenges the owners faced in marketing their products first inspired us to set up our business.
Our marmalades and jams reflect the Anglo Argentine nature of our family, bringing together the best of our two cultures and cuisines.
